Latvian Championship Relay (06/09/2020)

Started as 3rd with two teams far ahead and two teams close behind.
Got caught by Roze and Krumins at 3rd, when I made a mistake. At 10 was ahead again.
At 13th we were suddenly four guys together (me, Roze, Krumins, Caune), fighting for 2nd to 5th place. I am not sure what happened, but I was 95% sure that I am right and everyone else is wrong with direction to 16th.
In the end had to fight with Bertuks to keep the 5th place which I did.
Very disappointed with myself. Don't know if I could have out-sprinted others in the finish, but to lose because of my own mistake feels really bad.
It's a weird technical error - I've nailed hundreds of controls like this. Physically I felt not great (not terrible) today, not recovered after yesterday at all and had to push way over my comfort limit all the time. Perhaps that was the cost...
